Sunlight, the flagship brand of Unilever Sri Lanka, has won the hearts of Sri Lankans over the past 135 years and worked to build and strengthen peace and unity among our diverse peoples.
We know that COVID-19 has effected not only our health but also the health of our economy and that SME businesses have suffered a loss of demand for their products and services. But, Sri Lanka has always been united in times of need. Although social distancing may seperate us, in our hearts, our people care deeply and feel the urge to be there for others. That’s why Sunlight came together with the Small Enterprises Development Division (SEDD) to reweave the fabric of humanity with Manudam Viyamana.
The Manudam Viyamana Fund was established by Sunlight with the SEDD to uplift the lives of small scale entrepreneurs. The purchase of every Sunlight product that comes in the special packaging contributes Rs. 1/- to this fund. Every time you purchase a Sunlight product in the special packaging, you are also supporting a small business.
Through the Manudam Viyamana Fund, we support 10,000 small and medium garment businesses by offering free online skill building programmes together with the SEDD. Through these programmes, our aim is to rebuild the lives of 5 million people.
Today, you can also join Manudam Viyamana to support SME garment businesses.
